Big problem is once you lock the car if anyone opens this door the alarm goes off.

passenger side back door lock failed
The car has 35,000 miles on it, the door locks should not fail. And making it even more frustrating, the passenger side door lock failed at the same time.

The car has 35,000 miles on it, the door locks should not fail. And making it even more frustrating, the passenger side door lock failed at the same time. That is two doors within the same week and three door issues within 3 months.

They had to replace the TIPM since it had an internal relay failure and they had to replace right and left door latches.

So, after my dad was able to walk up to my car and take my purse out and hide it to teach me a lesson for leaving my doors unlocked is when i realized that my driver side and rear passenger side doors were not locking and unlocking on command. At first i thought it was my keyless entry so i paid for a secondary key, which was not cheap. And it still didnt work. then i took it to the autoshop because i got tired of having to crawl from the passenger side front door to lock and unlock my others doors. I was told that this particular problem was common but not covered under warranty and so i had to fork over a nice chunk of change to have it fixed.

I cannot believe that I paid $40,000 for a vehicle that I cannot even get into!! I have to crawl across the center counsel to get in and out of the vehicle. Not only is this a HUGE inconvenience, I am taking the risk of damaging something during my venture across the counsel, also it is the middle of winter and there is mud drips everywhere! And to top it off, I am pregnant and can barely fit over the counsel................this could cause complications to my pregnancy. Ok, so I took it to dealership and requested a rental vehicle which they stated would not be covered!!! I work at 4am, it is the middle of a snow storm and now I have to pay for a rental for their crap manufacturing? They stated that they have a "courtesy van" but unfortunately they don't operate at 4am!! Then they said they could remove the door panel (which they are aware of this problem with the door not opening) and leave it off until a replacement part could be sent so I could get in and out of the vehicle! Really??? I paid $40,000 for this??? This is not the first time this vehicle has been in the dealership. Most recently my key was not recognized, and my vehicle would not unlock with the keyless remote and would not start. I was stuck in the cold with 3 children!!! The replacement key was ordered over 2 months ago.......still nothing!! I will never buy a Chrysler product again if they do not own up to their poor quality vehicle! At least they could provide an adequate rental vehicle!!!!!!!!! That's all...............for now!

The front passenger side door would not lock or it would stay locked. The tailgate would also not lock properly.
