This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
The calipers were sticking on both rear wheels. You could smell them burning and it was hard to drive with the resistance on the wheels. Took it to the dealer since it was under warranty and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. When I left, the burning smell was the worst yet. You could even smell it with the windows rolled up. Took it back the next day then they say the calipers are seized and it's unsafe to drive. How did they not see/smell that problem the day before. Now it was a Friday before the long weekend and I had a trip to go on. Got stuck with a tiny rental car. Was not happy.

With this one it was far too many. I've changed the car. Too many problems.

We just bought the Jeep used with 43000 miles on it and I noticed a significant amount of heat coming off of the rear rotor when driving. I pulled my infrared temperature sensor and got a 400 degree temperature off of the rotor while the other were just over 100. The dealer fixed it as it was within the first 3000 miles/3 months after purchase.

Between 125 and 135k miles, all 4 brake calipers went bad, leaving the car inoperable and requiring a tow to a mechanic each and every time.
