While driving 55 mph on the freeway the ESC light came on and then my engine stalled, power steering and brakes shut off. I had to get to the side of the road and slowly coast to the exit! with my two kids (both under 4) in the car. Talk about scary!!!! I had my car towed to a Jeep service center and after 4 days with my car - they said they could not duplicate nor find any issues. I had to pay $200 for that answer.which I was not happy with!!! then today (July 12, 2015) while slowing down at a stop light - the same thing happened again!!!!!

I have received multiple recall notices multiple times (P36, P14, P54), I have asked my local Jeep dealer (rairdon's of bellingham wa) about these recalls multiple times over the last year and have been informed that the parts are not available yet to perform the repairs for these recalls, they also assured me that I was on the waiting list for these recalls to be performed, I still have not been contacted. Finally I called another Jeep dealer karmart Jeep of burlington wa, they said they had the parts in stock and scheduled my appointment and took care of all three recalls. I am not happy that rairdons put my safety and my family's safety in jeopardy for well over a year when parts were obviously available.

Darcars informed me that they were unable to complete one of the recalls (recall number 14V154000) on the car because criswell Jeep of gaithersburg (a dealership that I used in October 2014) claimed they had already performed the work for the recall and had been paid by Jeep, however the work was never actually done. Jeep is refusing to pay for this recall because criswell, one of their licensed dealerships, is not being honest. A dealership lying about performing recalls is a serious safety violation and should be reviewed immediately by your Agency. How many other recalls has criswell been paid for but not actually performed the work" what are the controls in your Agency to mitigate this risk"

There is P14 recall on model year 2011-2014 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles. They are claiming my car which a 2011 Jeep gc is not under this recall. Couple of months ago they installed a protective brake booster shield, when they actually should have replaced at the local dealership. I have brand new brakes and brake pads, the brake booster is simply leaking due to premature corrosion. Few days ago we almost crashed with our newborn daughter at 40 miles an hour because the brake booster was not working. We heard the air escaping when pressing the brake, but the vehicle did not stop. Chrysler needs to take responsibility and replace the brake boosters on these Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I have received 3 recall notices regarding my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (NHTSA 14V154, 14V530 and 14V391). After receiving notice 14V154 I contacted the local dealership (larry H miller in boise Idaho) and was informed that the parts were back ordered with no date when parts would be available. This information was repeated in September. Having now received 3 recalls I attempted to schedule to have all 3 resolved at the same time. However, when I tried to schedule a service, I'm told that, while parts are available, they will not order the parts until I bring my vehicle in first. When I asked why they stated that they needed the VIN number. However, they not only have my vehicle information on record and I had the VIN available during the call. I asked to complete the service order on the phone and was told it was "policy" to schedule service appointments only when the vehicle is present and only then will they order parts. This dealership has exceeded the reasonable amount of time to complete the repairs and is creating an unreasonable barrier to completing the services.
