Since new, rear end "whines". Not all the time, but can occur at any speed. Also, since new, rear end "bangs" when slowing down--as if it cannot find the correct gear to drop into. Noise can only get worse--sounds as if something is worn, but car is brand new.

Purchased 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland in October 2018 at Carmax, approximately 72000 miles. In May of 2019 I began experiencing violent vibrations/shuddering coming from the rear of the vehicle at speeds in excess of 40mph. The problem has grown worse over the past 2 weeks. Also when this is occurring the car seems to want to stop when pressing the gas pedal, nearly stalling out. Also, the suspension is completely lowered in the front of the vehicle when parked overnight. Some days it drives fine. Other days it feels like the rear wheels are going to fly off the car, almost as if the wheels become completely unbalanced. After reading all the posts regarding the air suspension and lower control arms who the heck knows what the real problem is and what needs to be done to permanently fix the issue. And it appears the dicks at Chrysler don't give a damn. I guess my friend is right, JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket.
