problem #2

Aug 012015

Grand Cherokee Limited Hemi 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 83,000 miles

I have had the TIPM replaced, the brake booster replaced (both before recalls and needed to get reimbursed), a coil pack replaced and now the transmission has this banging noise...idling in traffic....you inch forward and it feels like the gear will slam into gear. Scared to hear this cost. Luxury should not be this car's category.

Grand Cherokee Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,000 miles

Here we go again.

I was driving back from Florida to PA and while stuck in traffic and only crawling along, my transmission felt like it was slipping and banging into gear. It had done this before but this time I had a witness. He was like "What the hell was that noise". I have not brought it to the dealer yet because I am sick of hearing they cannot find a problem.

This is probably the worst vehicle I have owned in my life. Too many issues.

Is anybody else having this problem also?????
