My driveway pavers are a mess and I actually blamed my son's 2001 Toyota Avalon for staining the pavers. (it has 150,000 miles on her and no leaks anywhere) Luckily the dealer Massey Yardley Dodge had the genuine Mopar part in stock. Another repair shop calculated $850 installed and the dealer did in for $580 included an online service coupon. Warrantied now for 2 years/24,000 miles. This is a first for me regarding this type of repair. The service writer said its not uncommon and the internet says its going to happen sooner than later.
I've owned almost 60 cars in my lifetime and this is the first trans cooler that failed ever. It was suggested that I forward the invoice to FCA customer care which I'm doing now. It would be nice if the part was covered. It was brought in for the sun visor electrical service and the water shield for the power booster (recalls). I just turned 55,000 and I love my Jeep. Hope to have it for another 5 years.

$1300.00 JOB SAYS ENOUGH, PLUS STILL MAKING REGULAR CAR PAYMENT. THANK GOODNESS NO LIGHT CAME ON, BUT CAR LOST ALL POWER IN THE ACCELERATION WHICH COULD HAVE CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT BEING THAT IT HAPPENED AS I WAS PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC.

The transmission is leaking from the condenser after I go under the truck and noticed its been slowly leaking for months. A transmission on a jeep of this type and fairly new should not leak. I have never had a transmission leak ever. If there is a recall I want this fixed soon.

I HATE THIS JEEP- bought as dealer certified in 2012. The TIPM unit failed, the condenser leaks, and now the transmission is slipping horribly. The tech has to tear down the transmission to find the problem. I will NEVER buy a JEEP again.

Due to the fact that the transmission cooler is integrated to the AC condenser the entire unit had to be replaced. This vehicle has had major issues prior to this event.

Trans leak may have wrecked Transmission entirely. Insurance won't cover because it's a "maintenance issue" quoted $800 for repair so far but can test the Trans until repair is made to see if it bad according to the shop. So may have to spend another $3,000-$6,000 on top of the repair. Insurance drug decision out over 1 month and now am completely screwed. First was told it was totaled. Then they would cover and final was they won't cover.
