The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with Michelin tires, size: P265/660R18 (na). The contact stated that the tire tread wore down on two occasions after only 12,000 miles of wear. The contact stated that the tires were rotated and aligned twice to prevent the failure, but the tread wear recurred. In addition, the manufacturer guaranteed that the tire life lasted 60,000 miles. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The tire line was not provided. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was 31,000.
