Paid a lot of money for the overland 2012 Jeep Cherokee. I've had a lot of problems with it but this really makes me mad, entire dash, which is suppose to be leather, had shrunk and bubbled all up? It looks like hell.
When the headlight stopped working it was over $900.00.
Crazy.

The Leather Stiched Dash was touted by Jeep as one of the upgraded features. It has delaminated with the vehicle two years old. The dash leather has about a 30% delamination. Jeep will not replace unless a $500.00 payment is made by me. I am over the 36000 miles however the dash cover should have nothing to do with extent of warranty. They used defective glue or leather. So unhappy with this $46,000.00 vehicle that was supposed to top of the line for Jeep.

WOW... I can hardly believe this...
I noticed the leather on my dashboard was starting to get unglued. Anyone with an IQ of 20 knows this is not wear and tear. An 1980's car bought today would never do that cause this is simply a MANUFACTURING mistake. No big deal, these things happen I guess and as expected, the SELF-RESPECTING top QUALITY CHRYSLER with a century reputation will get our backs and say, we got it sir, our apologies, bring it in and we'll fix it.
Hummmm NOT! It's not covered. Excuse-me?!?!?!?!? I know it's not covered cause this is ABNORMAL!!! It's absolutely a RECALL in the works and what rendered me speechless is a bunch of 2011's are having the same problem and Chrysler couldn't care less! Some guys have been told that it would cost 2400$ to replace the dashboard.
Unacceptable.
Let's get class-action suit going guys. Anyone a lawyer here???? I'm fuming that Jeep can't be smart and quick enough to fix this ASAP because every person that will see my dash will be turned off to Cherokees forever!
