Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 109,251 miles

Jeep knows there is an issue with the camshaft warping in the 5.7L V8 hemi engine. The guy at the repair shop told me about it as design flaw in the engine. They fixed the state trooper engine because they didn't want the drama behind that. Know it's time for you to do the regular consumer right.

Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

This same problem was present in my 2011 jeep grand cherokee along with excess oil consumption and engine knock, all which was described as normal per chrysler. My 2012 exhibits same problem but now chrysler has a tsb out but no fix. Neither vehicle did this at time of purchase and it has progressively gotten worse. Vehicles sputter, some are calling it torque converter shutter but its basically the engine is not getting enough fuel during acceleration under load.
