The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the rear driver side headlight failed to illuminate. The dealer replaced the bulb twice, but was unable to provide an extensive diagnosis to determine if there was an internal electrical failure. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15V115000 (electrical system) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair. The dealer did not provide a specific date for when the part would become available. The manufacturer could not provide an estimated date for when the vehicle would receive the recall repair. The failure mileage was unknown. MA 08/10/15
