The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After the vehicle had been parked overnight in the driveway, the engine failed to start the following day and the battery warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to bob mariano Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (146 manchester St, concord, nh 03301, (603) 556-8616) where it was diagnosed that a new alternator and battery were needed. The dealer also ordered a new PCM. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 118,000.

The contact owns a 2013 grand Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that the power train control module and alternator failed. The contact stated that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 17V435000 (electrical system) and 17V572000 (service brakes, service brakes, hydraulic). The contact did not receive any recall letters. The vehicle was towed to ganley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (310 broadway ave, bedford, oh 44146, (440) 232-2121) where it was diagnosed that the battery caused the failures. The dealer wanted to charge the contact for both repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 119,000.
