  • 1,000 miles
While traveling on a roadway at approximately 20 mph, what appeared to be a tiny pebble struck my front windshield, which resulted in a chip in my windshield. Shortly thereafter, the chip resulted in a crack that spanned the entire horizontal length of my windshield. I have had driven/owned other non-Jeep vehicles in which windshields were struck by larger pebbles/rocks and survived without having sustained any damage. Additionally, my husband's 2013 Jeep Wrangler has sustained cracked front windshields on two separate occasions within a three month period. Design defect"? substandard front windshield??"
