The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the heated seat would activate independently and would also overheat. The contact also mentioned that whenever the accelerator pedal was depressed, a burning odor was emitted into the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
