After removing hitch cover to haul a toy, my husband then put it back on. He made the comment that it was not easy, cheaply made junk, and he had to do it several times before it felt secure. It fell off the next day on the interstate and was never found. My husband is a farmer and does a lot of mechanical work so he's no dummy about how to work equipment. The salesman at the dealership told us that Chrysler knows this is a problem and it's not covered under warranty. The piece of plastic junk along with the piece of fake chrome plastic junk cost me over $350 to replace !! That's absolute robbery and if it falls off again it's going to be the last.
