The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, an abnormal noise was heard coming from the rear of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the driveshaft needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.
