problem #2

Grand Cherokee Summit 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,000 miles

Vibration at speeds over 60mph. Original Goodyear tires balanced 3 different places. Purchased new Michelin, tires balanced.. alignment... and still have the same problem. Dealer said that all the grand cherokees with 20 inch wheels have the same problem. $52.000 Jeep.😡 I have spent $1000.00 trying to fix issue. Every time I take car to a different shop they say the tires are out of balance. I'm ready to take a big loss and buy a different car that runs smooth on the highway.

Grand Cherokee Limited Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

the vibration happened every week a few months ago. If you let off the accelerator, it would stop, push down and it would resume. Sometimes it would last for a few seconds, sometimes for a minute. It could happen in the city at 30 mph or on the highway at 75 mph. Naturally when I take it in to the dealer, it won't do it. Feels like the wheels are about to fall off, but when you let off , its smooth. So my guess, it's either the engine is missing or the transmission/ drivetrain has a problem.
