Engine mount was found worn/loose/ruptured/leaking. 3 common ways an engine mount would wear out:

-The most common reason for a broken motor mount is aging and use.

-Motor mounts are stressed by driving aggressively on the street or by racing at the track.

-Installing a defective motor mount (rare, but it happens) can cause motor mounts to break.

I purchased the car used certified from a dealer. Car had come from a rental company. I've only had the car a few years and my driving habits don't fit the criteria for worn out engine mounts.
