Grand Cherokee Summit 3.6L Penstar

  • Automatic transmission
  • 300 miles

Brand new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit had 10 days and engine MIL light came on. Dealer said it was driveable to take in for service. They had to replace PCM computer code P0600 as per invoice of service. I'm very concerned it being so new having big issues like this. Want to document this in case it's a recall issue and fear having more issues in the future. Dealer was very swift in correcting manufacturer problem but its brand new on the first tank of gas. I fear more issues and having to trade and acquire negative equity due to future repair costs when warranty expires. Vehicle had 344 miles when dropped off to repair. Please check into this and the other problems reported. Seems there may be defective parts coming from somewhere and id rather not be a victim of poor workmanship. I had faith to buy an American product trading my Honda Accord but now I'm having second thoughts.
