Grand Cherokee High Altitude Eco Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 22,000 miles

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee high Altitude Diesel $57,500 you would think you are purchasing a quality SUV for that kind of money, NOT, no wonder why Chrysler cannot sell these engines in the USA anymore because like VW they screwed over the public with lies and deceit. Car has been in the shop since the first week of July then on August 21st they said it was ready it did not make it 1 mile before the it almost crash do to loss of power. Chrysler is playing with peoples lives and they do not care they call this reaserch and development so what if people die, they will tie you up in court for years and give you a couple of Million for being a lab rat.

Grand Cherokee Overland V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

Wife driving vehicle, warning light came on and engine quit. She was able to coast to the side of road. Engine would not restart and transmission locked in park. The vehicle could not be moved until a rollback tow truck loaded it up. Had she been at a traffic light or in traffic the vehicle could not have been pushed to the side of the road. We did have the "transmission patch" done a couple of months ago and I believe this might have contributed to problem but do not know for sure.

Update from Sep 29, 2016: Dealer said prooblem was defective "throttle body" Had to order part. Jeep still in shop.
