The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle underwent and unknown recall repair regarding the emissions that included a reflash of the vehicle's computer. Due to the reflash, there was a lag in acceleration of 4 to 6 seconds, which prevented the vehicle from safely merging into traffic. The contact felt that the reflash repair was a safety risk for himself and others. Larry H. miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram albuquerque (8528 lomas blvd ne, albuquerque, nm 87110, (505) 404-0108) performed the repair. The manufacturer referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 38,000.
