Car has 1500k on the clock, yesterday I come out to find oil badly leaking from under the front drivers side engine bay. After checking all fluids etc could not detect the issue. Then found the leak to be from the radiator, after turning the car on and tying to drive to detect the issue, the auto transmission could not select a gear, keep the ratio. The gearbox then would not allow the selection of a gear. It seems the oil for the auto trans is cooled by the radiator and is leaking from the radiator.
Car only drives on the highway, I'm very concerned with this new issue and the issue of the auto trans slipping gears and jolting - this has caused this issue. The car is now un-driveable and had to be towed to a garage.
A 3 month old car with 1500k on the clock, it is very concerning. I will now be pushing Jeep for a replacement transmission.
