Grand Cherokee Altitude V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 11,000 miles

Rough shifting into gears since we first got the jeep new. Feels like I'm driving a really old car. Seems to also shift to early or to late at times. My wife doesn't like driving our Jeep because of this.

Grand Cherokee V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,105 miles

This is the second time I had to take the Jeep in for the transmission slipping out of gear issue.. I had the tech at the shop look at it and after 20 minutes of driving it happened to him. It slipped out of gear while driving at a slow speed. It also jerked while it slipped out of gear.. All I get from the Chrysler HQ is that they are sorry for my troubles and they are working on solving the problem.. I got two phone call from them and haven't heard back since.. It's pretty missed up when you pay so much money for a rig and they try to smooth it over by giving you and extra key and a road side help extension.. All I want is to have a new Grand Cherokee with no issue for at least 100,000 miles on it. My wife always wanted a brand new Jeep.. Am I asking to much ?

Just got a call after I had to call the customer service department at Chrysler HQ, which finally agreed to install a new transmission in the brand new Jeep.. Still not a happy camper
