wipers started running on a sunny day and would not shut off
This Grand Cherokee has sensor driven windshield wipers that I though were really cool when I first got the car. When it rains, the sensors detect exactly how fast the wipers should run and it works pretty well except on my way home from work on a bright, sunny day the wipers suddenly started running on high and I had to pull over and stop the engine to get them to reset and stop.

The front side windows of the driver and passenger seats do not clean off the rain! In my 20 plus years of driving and owning cars, I have always been able to roll the window down to clear off heavy rains. It is a safety concern not to be able to clearly see out of the window or the side mirrors while driving. I took it back to Jeep for repairs and they said the windows are designed to keep dirt from getting inside of the door messing up the electrical equipment but with today's technology surely both can be done, right? I haven't had this issue with any of the other brands I've owned. Only had Jeep 8 months, looking to get rid of it.
