While driving down the highway at 65MPH, the LaneSense and Power Steering became unavailable, and the Jeep veered to the right, pulling the vehicle off the road! There was suddenly no power steering. The warning on the dash read "LandSense Unavailable Service required and Power Steering unavailable Service Required. I had the Jeep towed to the dealership. The Tow truck driver experienced no power steering and noted the two warnings as well. When the service man got into the vehicle the power steering worked fine and no warnings were noted. He ran diagnostics on the Jeep Grand Cherokee (Summit) and it showed nothing. I am terrified to drive this Jeep again.

Dealership did a flash update, but that didn't fix it. They called Chrysler and turns out there is a known problem with the BCM on the 2017 Grand Cherokees. Chrysler had to manufacture a new module and ship it to the dealership. When I spoke with them this morning, they had installed the new part, and were going to test drive it and get back with me before lunch. It is now after lunch, and I have not heard back.
