This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
Bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee and only had 10,250 miles on it, while driving to work heard this horrible sound. Take it in and the service department said I threw a rod and they have ordered a new engine.....That was on June 18, 2019 and the engine is still on back order. It is covered under warranty and they have provided me with a loaner, that I have had to go back and get the tabs reissued and then swapped out for another loaner. I am completely sad, as this was the first time I strayed from Honda. I wish I had never done that.

The vehicle "was" a nice car..however after the engine failure at 12,000 miles and 10 months...I have no trust and want a replacement vehicle.

The Jeep?Dodge dealership has had our car for over 2 months and they can not get the engine to run. They have replaced the PCM computer twice. Now they say they want to tear into the engine because one side of the engine is not firing.
