The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, the vehicle independently shifted into park with the parking brake warning light illuminated. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle several times however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to bay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (636 15th St, panama city, fl 32401) to be diagnosed which was still pending. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 31,000. The VIN was not included.
