The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while the vehicle was turned off, the ABS module failed to turn off and drained the battery. The vehicle failed to start, and the contact was left stranded. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the ABS module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the parts being on back order. The manufacturer was contacted but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
