Started to set up my on board WIFI that was included in my Jeep we purchased 5 months ago to use on a trip we are going on next week. Won't work. After numerous phone calls, I was told by an AT&T rep. that this system hasn't worked on Jeeps since Dec 2020 and they are not sure when it will be fixed.

The Manufacture has known about this issue for months and continued to sell this vehicle without a fix to unsuspecting buyers. The Unconnect features are totally useless in this vehicle. The best answer I could get from my dealer is that they know about it and I will be notified when they have a fix. Until then they are selling this vehicle which includes all 2021 Jeep models with Uconnect, to buyer who will have no idea there is an issue until it is too late.

The Uconnect keeps rebooting while driving...everything goes blank (black screen) and then it returns to the start up screens with the "Accept" button there to click. When it is in this mode, no music, or anything else like back up camera, etc. It is plain annoying. Online chat areas have some suggestions for "soft rebooting" but that did not work on this model...holding both ON/OFF button and CHANNEL select button down at the same time for a few seconds.
Other online search suggests this type of Uconnect system overall is a terrible system and I tend to agree. In this day and age there are IT people that can fix or redesign it to work reliably. So how about some pressure to make that happen!
