Vehicle immediately accelerated as I was attempting to pull out of the house garage. I pressed hard on the breaks to halt it. I then returned the gear knob to park (-??P-??) mode. I tried again to place the gear knob on drive and the vehicle started raving on high as if it was about to take off at full speed. I waited for a few minutes while it was on park -??P-?? mode, with the engine still idling, and placed it in reverse -??R-?? mode to return into the garage and the same thing happened in reverse mode. It jumped back in full speed when I gradually released the brakes. Engine was raving extremely high. I decided to shut it off and schedule an appointment with the dealership for a vehicle inspection. As is, not certain if it might do the same while out on the street driving it. Vehicle just had a recall inspection done on 4/20/2024. This is the first time the engine has done such.

Sunroof Exploded outward while driving on a smooth road. This percussion of an explosion would have caused serious problems had anyone been around me. The sound alone was damaging to my ears. The sunshade was closed and kept glass from raining down on me. No objects were able to fall on my vehicle nor were there any visible vehicles in front of me nor behind me.

[XXX] I was backing out of a parking spot on the 4th floor of the parking garage at work when my car displayed an SOS on the radio monitor and then my Jeep Grand Cherokee shut off and would not restart. I then had to call parking for my job to redirect traffic because I was preventing other vehicles from exiting the garage because my vehicle was unable to restart and I had to have it towed back to the dealership in Waynesboro GA and pay $120 to have this done. i waited over an hour for a tow truck to come and it is still unclear why this keeps happening. I am afraid that the next time it happens I may loss my life. I also called the dealership and Jeep wave to see if there was a way to restart the Jeep but no one was able to assist with the request. The vehicle is really becoming a problem for me. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I took car to dealership on 3/8/24 for maintenance. After the maintenance was completed i picked up the car, paid, took the report and went home. In reviewing the report, I noticed an outstanding recall 10B pending. The service advisor never mentioned this to me, not did I receive notification from Jeep. I proceeded to call the dealer and they simply advised me to call Jeep because they did not have parts and did not know when they would be available. I called Jeep and opened a case. I expressed I had reviewed this vehicle had a stop sale issues as per the recall, yet no parts available. They mentioned parts would not be available until after the 2nd quarter of this year. I asked that my call be escalated. Today, 3/14/23, I finally received a call from an agent mentioning my request for buy-back was denied. I expressed that this was not a buy back, but a lemon, because this car has had 2 recalls already and it took them amount over 5 months to fix it. I mentioned this was a critical safety issued as stated by them on the recall notification as it says ": A loss of clamp load may result in the UCA separating from the knuckle and the wheel falling outboard, which can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning." I drive my car with two small children and cannot afford to have a possible crash without warning. The agent told me he could put me on a recall list but it would be after the 2nd quarter that Jeep would start fixing these issues. The agent mentioned he could not see the reason why the buy back was denied. I asked for the call to be escalated to a supervisor. I am currently pending that call.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the safety risk highlighted in the open recall 24V-132. Upon reviewing the details provided, particularly the issue involving the damaged pinch bolt which may break and lead to a loss of clamp load between the UCA ball joint and the knuckle, I am gravely concerned about the potential consequences. As someone who prioritizes the safety of myself, my loved ones, and others on the road, it is distressing to contemplate the possible ramifications of such a failure. The prospect of the UCA separating from the knuckle and the wheel subsequently falling outboard poses a significant threat not only to the occupants of the vehicle but also to other road users. In particular, the thought of being in a situation where the safety of my three children, or anyone else for that matter, is compromised due to this issue is deeply unsettling. The absence of prior warning exacerbates the seriousness of the situation, as it leaves little room for proactive measures to mitigate the risk. Given these circumstances, I implore you to take immediate action to address this safety concern and ensure the prompt implementation of necessary repairs or replacements as outlined in the recall. The well-being of everyone involved is paramount, and it is crucial that swift and decisive steps are taken to minimize the likelihood of any potential accidents or injuries. I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that you will prioritize the safety of all individuals affected by this recall.

I have had water leaking into the vehicle from the sunroof, down the driver side B pillar and filling the battery compartment under the driver seat and leaving the carpeting wet. I discovered this in early 2023 only because i placed my hand on the floor behind the driver seat and felt it was wet. In April of 2023 the Jeep dealer cleaned the sunroof drains but it kept leaking. In October of 2023 I took it back again and they said the sunroof was damaged from the manufacturer and it had to be replaced. I dropped of the vehicle on 12/22/2023 so they could install a new sunroof and picked it up on 1/3/2024. I then dropped it off again on 1/10/2024 as it was still leaking. I picked it up again on 1/23/2024 and they said the new sunroof is also damaged and needs to be replaced. As of 2/16/2024 the part has not arrived and water still come into the vehicle, soaking the carpet under the driver seat and driver side passenger floor, there is a wire harness that comes from the B pillar and towards the driver seat that is also wet and the batter compartment fills with water. Also since October the auto stop start feature which used to activate during every drive has not activated once, dealer keeps saying it is working as it should. If so why has it not activated in 4 months" Has the water intrusion caused this issue? Is the water intrusion going to cause mold, rust or electrical issues"

-The sunroof shattered while driving. No one else on the road in front of vehicle while driving. -This covered the occupants (Driver, front Passenger, and two passangers in the middle row) with glass. -Dealer not aware of any issue, plenty of online forms from the public having same issue. -Reached out to Insurance to file claim and have repaired. -Glass was in perfect condition prior to exploding.

While on the highway, the 2 piece panoramic moonroof exploded. There was a loud pop, and then the glass shattered. There was no indication of any previous issue. The sun guard screen was open to let the light in, so the glass just fell into the car. A small, but unconfirmed observation from other drivers on the highway at the time, made me think the glass also fell unto the highway as the glass exploded away from the car. The dealership I took the car to was unable to confirm this was an explosion due to a defect or something hitting the car. However, I did not witness any object flying over head that would have dropped anything and nothing was found in the car. Only the dealership has looked at the Jeep so far. My insurance has been contacted to just let them know this occurred, but no claim has been filed as of 11/3/23.

I was never sent anything regarding my recall, so I-??m kind of upset now it-??s been since June 8th, apparently, since recalls been made and now come November my insurance is going to 138. I can-??t afford that with daycare and other expenses. I-??m going to jeep dealership tomorrow! And going to Speak to supervisor. But please make this right it-??s utterly unacceptable to have said in USAA AP THAT MY INSURANCE IS INCREASING DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OF THE DEALERSHIP to inform me of my recall. I have two kids and not a happy momma right now

I was turning at an intersection when I got rear-ended. I do not recall the car stopping right before I got hit, but there is video that shows the my jeep stopped suddenly during the intersection right before I was rear-ended. It appears the oncoming car turning the opposite way got too close causing my automatic braking system to immediately stop my car while I was driving. There is no other explanation as to why the jeep just suddenly stopped as I know I did not press on the brakes myself.

Unknown, The Jeep designed as to not be able to be put in drive with a door ajar. Twice now pulling out of parking lots, while driving the vehicle has disabled itself, put it inself in park stating a door was left open. I'm alright with a vehicle not allowing an operator to leave park while a door is open but it shouldn't be able to disable the vehicle while turning on to a busy street once moving.

Purchased 1 Feb 23. 3 weeks later, I pulled out of driveway and drove 3 blocks before coming to stop sign, After stopping, I proceeded to pull across 4 lane hwy. Only to have vehicle shut off in middle of 2 lanes. I was left sitting broadside in middle of 2 lanes. I finally realized the drivers door was ajar, I closed door completely and was able to restart vehicle. It is Now June 2023 and it happened again after driving about 3 blocks. This time It shut off while I was driving 50 mph in middle of 2 lane hwy. Again drivers door was ajar. This is a serious safety hazzard. Vehicle is not supposed to move if door is not closed completely. There were no bells or lights warning you that door was not closed completely. Jeep Dearlership does not seem to think this is a major safety issue and did nothing to fix.

From the time the vehicle is started, there is an approximate 15 second delay for the backup camera and rear cross traffic alert to display a live view when in reverse and the vehicle is in motion. I.E. putting the vehicle in reverse immediately after starting the engine will show a frozen, then 1-2 second delayed view of the actual image when in reverse. This problem happens any time the vehicle is started, and corrects after about 15 seconds, when finally an actual live view is displayed by the backup camera when in reverse.
