Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 800 miles

While accelerating from the stopped position, the transmission has become stuck in a lower gear three times in the past week. I don't know if it is second or third gear, but the mph is about 35 and the RPM is maxed out on the gauge, even though I have removed my foot from the gas pedal.
