The steering gear is coming apart and is slipping which causes it to feel like you're driving sideways down the road. The windows will not go down without making a horrible noise and the thermostat housing needs to be replaced. After driving the Jeep it smells like its been on fire.

The approximate failure mileage was 178,000. Consumer stated the windows were falling down inside the door. Repairs were made by the local service dealer.

Lights flicker when driving at night. Temporary loss of sight of the road. Major safety issue. I see mulitple complaints with no fixes, and no recall. Online shows different models other than Jeep Liberty with the same issue. I am not sure why they are not taking this seriously. Someone could die get seriously injured, also you could run over someone or animal when the blindness occurs it has last several minutes before the lights come back on. Try to pull over to the side of the road with complete blindness very scary. This happens every time I drive at night. The time intervals between the flickering varies. If nothing is done which I hope is not the case it has been documented in case I have an accident die or kill someone.

Takata recall the drivers side ball joint sheared off because it cant be greased.. the wheel fell off in a parking lot.. the passengers side is doing the same shearing off.. it made a whining noise on the drivers aide and is not making a noise on passenger side

I purchased my 2004 Jeep Liberty in 2009 with 16K miles on it. In 2010 I had to have the passenger's side window regulator replaced at $200. In 2011 the back driver's side window had the same issue, but now the repair was quoted at being at least $400. In late 2016 the back passenger window did the same thing. This week March 2017 the driver's side front window has done the same thing and no longer stays up. All of these have happened while driving either on a city street or highway while moving.

I said yes I didn't ask any questions however the next day the front left headlight went out and it cost me $15 so not sure what else I can do it appears that there was a recall there is a recall on the fuel tanker what not they can catch fire I would like the recall to be repaired also I should have noticed that the car occasionally randomly feel like it's fishtailing while I'm driving I was struck by a vehicle on the freeway while I was walking after my Jeep Grand Cherokee that I had prior to my Subaru completely died on the middle of the freeway I began to walk to the call box when I was struck by a car so I have to have a safe car I am a single mother and grandmother thank you for your attention in this matter.
