The mechanic stated that they could not align the front end because the ball joints were defective. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they repaired the vehicle according to the recall, but did not align the vehicle. The contact felt that after such a repair, the alignment was necessary and should have been included in the recall repair. The manufacturer has not been notified. She scheduled an appointment and took her vehicle in on the appointed date and time. She waited for one and a half hours and was advised to schedule another appointment for a time when she could leave the vehicle at the dealer. She was informed that it was fine for her to drive her vehicle. While driving home, she heard a splash against the tire wheel. The boot that holds the grease busted. The vehicle is currently parked in front of her home. The purchase date and recall number were unknown. The current and failure mileages were 82,000.

The consumer stated purchased a new tire and have the tires rotated to fix the problem but the new tire did not help. The consumer stated contacted dealer who informed her they have not received the part as of yet. The consumer further stated contacted daimler Chrysler who would contact the dealer to upgrade the consumers order. The consumer stated was informed to contact another local dealer to no avail. The consumer is requesting help with the recall for this vehicle.
