The contact owns a 2005 Jeep Liberty. While driving 35 mph, the ball joints separated when she depressed the brakes. As a result, the tire smashed into the fender, which caused a crash. There is a recall for the suspension: Front: Control arm: Lower ball joint (NHTSA campaign id 06V288000) however, the contact stated that she did not receive a recall notice.
