My TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor) went off the day after I bought the car. I looked at the all the tires (didn't use a pressure gauge, stupidly) and nothing looked low so I figured it was a faulty sensor and went about my business.
About a week later, I had a tire blow while I was driving. Nothing bad happened, no one was injured, but it was a pain in the ass to deal with. As you can imagine, I IMMEDIATELY went and checked the pressure on all my tires. Everything else was fine, so I chalked it up to the one tire probably having been low.
Except, now the light keeps going off and freaking me out. I've checked the pressure a few more times since I'm paranoid about it now, and they're all up to spec. But I have a mini heart attack every time that damn sensor goes off. I'm thinking it's just faulty, but it's pretty annoying.
