As soon as we bought our new Jeep Liberty both front leather seats started to crack and eventually tear showing through the to mesh. As the car was still under warranty at that time, they replaced only the driver's side seat since it was the one that showed the most wear. Well, not even 2 months later it was happening again. Both front seats have huge rips and cracks. I am so frustrated. We bought the top of the line liberty w/the leather seats hoping it would be easy to clean and maintain for the long haul. We followed all instructions on cleaning the leather and conditioning it and yet this still happened. Our leather steering wheel is also a disaster. We owned Mitsubishi's in the past w/leather packages and this was never an issue. The leather on the wheel and seats were in pristine condition and we didn't even follow care instructions on that car!
