My Slider on my 2008 Jeep Liberty broke. I have tried to get it fixed and cant find a place who is willing to even try to fix it. I've seen online this is a frequent problem with this slider and there is no fix available. The parts are not being made anymore. I seem to be stuck with a car with the roof ratchet strapped on and cannot drive it in the wind or rain not to mention the danger of having the tip fly off in traffic. Chrysler really needs to recall this! As it stands I will never buy another Chrysler product again. Its shameful the way they don't stand behind their products.

I am so honestly fed up with the sky slider on my Jeep. I have had it for 3 years and the roof has been messed up for 3 years. It worked perfectly fine when I got the car, but after about 4 months, it broke. I hardly used it, but it still broke. Unfortunately, I didn't have a warranty so I was just messed up I so many words.

I have called and called and called and inform Jeep about this problem, still no luck on any help from them. My truck has brown water spots on my roof from it leaking when it rains, and did I mentioned that it also has mildew? The water has been causing electrical problems also. My horn just goes off at any given time, I had to pull the fuse so now I have no horn. If I have to drive somewhere and I have to go over 45 mph, I have to tape the sky slider down or just ride with my front windows down some just so it will not blow open.

My thing is if Jeep knows that there is multiple complaints about the same issue, WHY NOT FIX IT!!!!! It's obvious that this is not a wear and tear issue.
