The contact owns a 2008 Jeep Liberty. While driving approximately 25 mph a chime sounded inside of the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure could possibly be related to the fuel indicator. Whenever gasoline was dispensed into the fuel tank, the fuel sprayed out from the intake spout. The failure occurred on fifteen separate occasions. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. The fuel tank required replacement. The failure mileage was 20,000.
