It wouldn't let me click on multiple other options like the windshield. Snow blows through the front vent sometimes as I'm driving if I have it on regular heat or defrost. The breaks have always squeaked since I got the vehicle in 2018. I have to play with the seatbelt to get it to lock in place. The wheel sometimes turns on its own randomly to the left and the suspension is really off and bouncy.

When starting my car it drives okay, but if let running all the lights come on, and if I drive 5 minutes down the road it goes off and then bings and all comes back on. I am being told it may be my clockspring and most 2008 Jeep are experiencing that after 100,000 miles but it is not a recall issue. I has the check engine on constantly as well as the airbag sensor.

Had 4 new Goodyear Wrangler sra tires installed by sam's club on 5/3/2014.bought lifetime rotation/balance package at that time. Have tires rotated/balanced routinely. Alignment goes out each time and steering wheel also ends up out of the proper position. Alignment is completed by a specialty shop. The shop tells me I have at least one or more defective tires. Informed sam's club of issue on 4/10/2015 during the rotation/balance. Had alignment done the previous day. Sam's club denied any issue with these tires and would not follow up on it. Have learned to rotate/balance first, then do alignment. Certainly will not purchase Goodyear again!

My heat shield came loose and detached at 110000 miles while driving. It was obviously resting on moving parts under my vehicle. It made a klattering rattle as the vehicle slowed to a stop where I could check out the problem. The heat shield readily came out when the rear passenger tire was removed to provide access to the part on the side of the road.

Driving on the freeway at 70mph when the ac compressor seized and blew the bearings out. Oil got on belt which caused it to slip on power steering pulley which slightly increased steering effort. Ac compressor is used to operate defogger. Since ac compressor is broken, defogger will not work and visibility may not meet federal standards depending on weather.

Bad clock spring located in steering column, effects many things including airbag. Extremely expensive to replace and have found it is a very common issue.

When ever I turn the wheel, I hear a pop. It is getting louder now with age.the auto technician that checked did show me the bushings and they looked wore out. Just new control arm 's cost about $400 for both left and right. I did not ask about the labor charge.

February 2014: Opened my car with the key when the fob wouldn't work. Horn and radio blared, both front and rear windshield wipers turned on, in addition to all dashboard lights. Continued for 10 minutes until battery was disconnected. In that time, the car would not start. After 5 minutes, the battery was reconnected and the car started without issue. April 2014: While turning into a gas station, my Jeep completely stopped. After waiting 2 minutes it started again. I took it to my local mechanic who cleaned corrosion around the battery. 2 weeks later, I was driving on a 3 lane highway, began to decelerate and at approximately 25mph, the Jeep's engine turned off. At the same time, all of the dashboard lights turned on in addition to the horn and windshield wipers. Thankfully I was able to coast to the shoulder without incident, where the Jeep continued the same behavior for about 10 minutes, and then abruptly stopped. The car would not start again until the battery was disconnected and then reconnected. I brought it to a Chrysler dealer that evening and detailed the issues. They monitored it for 3 days, but ultimately returned the car stating they could not find any issues but could replace module for almost $1000! May 2014: Replaced the battery and had minimal issues including windshield wipers randomly starting and stopping, but no horn or shut down issues, until... June 2014: A similar incident occurred that mirrored the April deceleration incident. At this point I disconnected my horn--a safety issue, but the blaring was becoming increasingly inconvenient. A week later the car turned off while pulling into a parking space. When I exited the the store and attempted to start the car, it started without incident. Since June, the Jeep has only exhibited minor issues such as the windshield wipers randomly starting, but it's only a matter of time.

Vehicle was making a whining noise when turning. I had the car checked and the power steering fluid was low. It was discovered that this car is leaking power steering fluid onto the rack and pinion. Along with this, the airbag light is coming on. I believe that this may be related to the latest recall concerning the heat shield. Jeep refuses to add my car to the recall list and I am sure this is directly related.
