Heater core went out and was replaced. Two weeks later it went out again and had to be replaced where I was told there must have been a faulty part. After it was replaced for a second time a month later it went bad again. Seems to me like there is another cause of this problem?

Heater core went out just two weeks after new one was put in. When I had it replaced for the second time, they told me there must have been a faulty part in the new one.

Heater core went out. Heat was not hot and what did come out smelled awful.

I had to have heater core replaced twice within 6 months. It also leaked engine coolant into carpet of car. Engine overheated and seized on way to the dealer. Paid $4600 out of my pocket for all repairs that occurred due to faulty heater core. They claim it was a valve of some sort that blew into a piston.

Heat vents on driver side putting out cool air instead of heat in winter of 2016. Took it for repair to a place recommended by warranty company. They say that they replaced the heater core due to a small leak and thermostat. Picked up and same problem. Warranty wouldn't cover problem. Had to pay around $700 for repair. Winter of 2017 same problem. Took to another mechanic in my area. He had a difficult time finding the problem after several tests. Finally said the the head was warped so that was replaced which was covered under extended warranty. Now yesterday Jeep ran hot and smelled like it was going to overheat. Notice that liquid was coming out from under vehicle creating a puddle. Tired of paying out to fix this problem only for it to occur again. Now the warranty has expired. Going crazy!
