At speed above 55 or in heavy winds the sound of air coming through the sunroof can be very disconcerting. Turning up the radio to hear it becomes a must. The sudden gusts cause you to take your eyes off the road at times. With the increased noise it becomes increasingly difficult to hear outside noise which could easily become a safety concern. The local Jeep dealer says there is no fix, and not to worry unless it leaks. He also stated he had seen this problem before. My call to customer service ( I have the ref # if needed) resulted in much the same discourse. [xxx] was nice enough but did not have a satisfactory answer to my dilemma. He certainly would not admit to a design flaw with no way to tighten the soft sunroof down. Nor is there presently a hard top to eliminate the problem, he indicated when I pressed him. This moving air noise is already a distraction and if it gets louder I hate to think what might occur. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
