Driving my 2010 Jeep Patriot, this November 2016 event was about the sixth time this has happened to me in this car. It starts with the ! light coming on in the dash, then it just slows to a crawl regardless of how much I push the accelerator. I have to pull onto the shoulder, and wait about 30 minutes, while huge trucks swoosh by. It is dangerous and life threatening. I a female senior citizen (62 years old at the time). I now have to rent a car or pay for airline travel because I am afraid to drive my car. I really don't have the funds to pay for researching and fixing this car.

Had to pay hundreds of dollars to get car towed to nearest Jeep Dealership as the error codes weren't staying in the system long enough for my local mechanic to pull the codes out. 3/4 cylinders were misfiring and the car was extremely sluggish and difficult to drive due to running on 1 cylinder, engine throttle light came on.
