About a minute after filling up the gas tank (just until the pump stops), the car starts bucking, and stalls. Happens every single time you completely fill the tank. Has happened several times over the past few years. Searches on this seem to show that this is a HUGE problem, and the only fix is replacing the entire gas tank because of a faulty part. I've learned not to fill up the tank, which is a pain, as I don't want to be stalling as I am getting onto a busy highway somewhere. Luckily every time this has happened, I've been right outside the station at a red light. This is a real problem, and it needs to be addressed.

Starting late October, whenever I tried to fill the tank, the gas pump would put in about a quarter gallon then stop. I had to add gas 1, 2, 3 tenths of a gallon at a time or very slowly. I first thought it was the pump at a popular wholesale club because I did not see the same problem at Sunoco or Wawa. Then it started happening at those places too.
Jeep was at the dealer last Thursday. I was to be charged $160/hr to diagnose the problem, but they distracted and asked to bring it back at another time. I'm glad I checked here first. Just another of the weird problems I've had with the vehicle.
