The 2011 jeep patriot is by far the worst vehicle I've ever owned. I bought it brand new and it has been nothing but problems. I had to replace the rear crossmember, because it rusted in half. It has had a miss for the last 2 years, that no mechanic could seem to figure out, power steering has been whining for at least 5 years, it would randomly shut off while driving, losing all functions to operate, and now today caught on fire driving down the interstate and is now totaled. These vehicles are a death trap and should not be sold. I think this company should buy back all these vehicles. Stop with all these service bulletins and make them a damn recall before someone is killed over this companies lack of respect for their customer's lives. I will never own another Chrysler product and I will advise everyone I know about the issues that you have with a Chrysler product. It is ridiculous that this company will put other people's lives in jeopardy for a few dollars!
