The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Patriot. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V668000 (air bags, seat belts); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

My granddaughter got trap with the seat belt (rear passenger side of the car) the more we tried to release it the tighter it got, even though we unhooked it. We had to cut the seat belt to get her out. If it helps she is about 5'2" and weighs about 125 lbs. I am taking it too autoserv in tilton nh 03276 to be looked at on 4/4/2016.
