Clutch started having issues going up hills with loss of power, specific gears couldnt even be found from time to time. you try to move the gear shifter into the correct spot and it wont budge, no noise that follows, depressing the clutch a second time normally fixed this

Bought this car used back in December from Southpoint Dodge in Austin, TX. Just over 18 months later, the clutch started slipping, the car started vibrating and shaking at high speeds, and then the engine started making grinding noises when accelerating. I purchased an extended warranty on this thing when I bought it. I thought parts failing would be covered. I got to the dealership and was immediately told clutch issues are only covered up to 12 months! He quoted me $2000 in repairs and $150 just for diagnostics, which I can't afford. I just spent my entire savings on the down payment on this thing in December. I'm stuck paying $300 a month car payments for 4.5 more years and I can't drive it. I've owned plenty of standards and never had clutch issues so I know it's the car, not me. I am a veteran and it's not fair to be treated this way.
