The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Patriot. While driving 60 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the rear wheel hub seized and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 58,000.
