The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that while driving at 45 mph and making a right turn, the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that both tie rods were fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000.
