Renegade Trailhawk 2.4L I-4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

From dealership at 18 miles (upon purchase) the steering wheel was about 3 degrees left of center. Thought it may be the grade of the road. Drove it for a few days to make sure city, highway, rural. 5 days later contacted the dealership and took it in for service alignment.

Was told the alignment was fine and it could be the grade of the road, tires, wind..... etc....

On all roads city, rural, highway it does this same thing. It isn't the grade or wind. I was given a loaner when I dropped it off for them to fix. The loaner doesn't do this as much (same Jeep Renegade but fwd basic with smaller tires). It occasionally will have a slight 1-2 deg off but mostly is center.

Update from Oct 9, 2015: They adjusted it ".05" deg and it now drives straight.
