Renegade Latitude 1.4L

Have had the car a month. Hill Start Assist was working fine at delivery. After a big problem with the locks not unlocking had software update done. since then the hill start assist does nothing, car just rolls freely. Worked fine before. Have tried cycling it on and off in system settings, but just doesn't work.
