problem #1

Renegade Latitude 2.4L

I bought this Jeep in 2017 - there were 6 miles on it. I have not had the sky view opened hardly any. I live in Texas so it's hot here. In the spring and fall I do enjoy opening it up. The main reason I bought this particular jeep was for the sky view. Now my sky view motor has gone out. I just got it out of the shop because I had to replace the thermostat. I have a mechanic looking into giving me an estimate.

The most ridiculous thing when I call Jeep they say there is not a recall and besides they only recall if it is a life-threatening situation. I belong to a jeep club that talks about jeep problems, this is one of the big problems. Sky view opening and closing issues. Then the motor goes out. I think jeep needs to rethink some of these parts they push on us. When we have an issue with the same part and problem 100s of others are having I really think they should investigate. It has really turned me against owning another Jeep.

Please Jeep reach out and help get this problem solved I am really angry I have to spend lots of hard-earned money on parts that should still be working. I owned several vehicles with moon roofs as we called them that worked well for years. So I need answers.
